A supposedly classical orchestra comedy has become Chiaki x Nodame’s romance soap opera.
..
Alright it’s probably a little exaggerated, but the whole 11 episodes of Nodame Cantabile: Paris Chapter is somewhat focusing more on their relationship – while it’s still enjoyable to watch, I was actually hoping for more orchestra related story.
Now I shall give an award to Chiaki aka Shinichi kun, as the male tsundere character of the year. Can’t think of any other similar type but as ‘moe’ as he is. If I remember correctly, I don’t think he’s even blushing as much in the manga but now in the anime he’s like another person. Good and bad.

*Chu*
Besides the final two episodes, the quality of the animation is pretty bad though. Am just glad that the very fast story pacing kinda save the show. 11 episodes is good.

Looking forward to Tanya x Kuroki. Gonna be interesting to watch. ^^
The whole Paris settings looks good. I especially love ep #10: Nodame’s first recital in Southern France. Although no Rhapsody in Blue this time around but Mozart’s Variation on ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’ K265 is pretty sweet too.
..

Nodame: Ever since I married to you, damn you cook all the good food everday! Chiaki: NO we’re NOT married.
Loves all the comedic moments. The best will be how Chiaki stole the car away from Jean Donnadieu – classic. Do not forget Nodame’s attempt to speak French in the restaurant as well, very hilarious alright.

Nodame’s most moe moment. She looks so cute in these. <3
My only major complaint for the show is the OP “Sky High” – it’s so not good while the ED “Tokyo et Paris” is a cute song with cute lyrics.
I think there’s gonna be a season three but maybe not so soon though. Perhaps I should start catching up with the manga first. ^^
