The green.

After our final paper for the first semester of gamma year, we decided to treat ourselves with a BBQ trip to Serendah. Headed to Tesco to grab some food before hopping to the destination at around 4pm.

Part of the glass shed.

Took almost 3 hours to get to the place no thanks to the horrified traffics. Sekeping Serendah is somewhat located in the rain forest.

On the way getting into the jungle, we passed by some orang asli villages, the little curvy roads and the scenery around kinda reminds me of spirited away, where in the opening of the movie when Chihiro and her parents are traveling in the car. Was quite fun for me but not for the poor drivers though as the roads are really bumpy. Managed to get ourselves there in the end by following this little map, and some helps from the local residents.

Who’s in there?

The sky is almost dark and it’s drizzling upon our reach, but we were still pretty trilled by the glass sheds – they looked great.

Pool, green in colour.

After exploring around the sheds like some any other jakon city kids would do, it’s time to prepare for the bbq dinner: chicken wings, sausages, sauces, sweet potatos, sateys, choco banana, and yada yada. The bbq pit is right outside the balcony and since it’s drizzling, so we’re kinda like barberque in the rain. Not too bad as an experience though.

One of the local residents.

After the food, the kids from Cyber decided to watch FF7: Advent Children on the laptop – of all things to do in a jungle, we know.

Another interesting thing of this place is the shower area – it’s open air.  While enjoying the hot water shower, you can feel the cold rain drops falling down from the sky at the same time. Feels good.

The inner of another glass shed.

Since we were the only group staying overnight at the place so we were basically no holding back in making noise.. until we were tired enough to hit the sack. There isn’t any bed, only two hammocks and some mattresses.

The photographers.

Had some leftovers the next day morning then went out for some walk. It’s not a very big place, the whole area has only two mud sheds and two glass sheds, along a green-in-colour (swimming?) pool.
