some random anime, yotsuba, things, food & life ね。

Neon Shocku.
..
First manga, then 2 seasons of anime, then live action movie. So what’s left?
JDorama of course.
Here’s the news. ANN. In Japanese.
I know we are all secretly in love with Honey & Clover, so this is actually quite a good news regardless well, it might end up like the live action movie, lols. No, it’s not that the movie was really that bad, but the anime was just too good. Hell yeah.
..
Only 2 main roles are mentioned in the news: Ikuta Toma as Takemoto Yuuta and Narumi Riko as Hanamoto Hagumi. So far I’ve only seen Ikuta Toma in HYD2 (sorry HanaKimi fans), which he only appears in the 2-hours-special first ep as a bad guy, who actually left quite a strong impression to me. But then shouldn’t Takemoto be slightly more uh, normal looking? I mean Toma is too kakkoii for Takemoto lols, he probably will fit as Morita better.
As for Narumi Riko, I didn’t watch 1 Litre of Tears either (she was the younger sister of the main girl) but after taking a look at her official site, I guess she’ll be doing fine. It’s actually hard to tell from just a few pictures, and we all know how well Aoi Yuu was in H&C the movie so this certainly is a pressure for Riko chan lols. Owhs, I’d like to add that she’s only 15 this year. D:
Anyways, hopefully we’ll be able to see more cast list soon – I’m especially looking forward to see Morita and Yamada’s. XD And hopefully the drama will be more faithful in terms of following the manga & anime stories too, as the movie was kinda failed to do so. And of course, Suga Shikao and/or Spitz’s for the dorama theme songs please.
HachiKuro banzai! X3

OMG!!! H&C dorama!! Can’t wait for it… *squeels in glee*
Hmm… of all the characters, I think Takemoto, Hagumi, and Morita are tough to act due to the complexity of the characters. So more demanding for the actors and actresses I guess.
I have to say I really like Ikuta Toma’s acting in HanaKimi. I think he’s the perfect fit. xD But then Takemoto is totally different from Nakatsu (Toma’s char in HanaKimi). Still, I’m looking forward to his acting. Yeah, he can look a bit too kakkoi for Takemoto. Perhaps they couldn’t find any more normal looking actors? =P
I don’t really remember Narumi Riko’s acting in 1 Litre of Tears already since it was quite some time ago. Plus I haven’t watch the special episode of the dorama. Hopefully she’ll do justice to Hagumi’s character. =) It’s not easy to act as a university student when you are only 15.
Btw, I also can’t wait to know who will be acting as Morita. That is one tough nut to crack. Hopefully the director incorporate special effects like those in Nodame Cantabile. Then it’ll be real fun to watch. And please develope the characters more in the dorama since there is more time compared to a movie.
Oh, and Senn-chan, time for you to watch more dorama. =P

“I mean Toma is too kakkoii for Takemoto lols, he probably will fit as Morita better.”
Agreed, and agreed. Was excellent in HanaKimi and totally deserved his award for Best Supporting Actor, but… yea. Too kakkoii for Takemoto. Facial features just too sharp. I think if it was hard to accept Sakurai Sho in the part, it’s gonna be a bit harder to accept Toma in it. ahahaha

Woots. Looks like Toma is good. I like him in HYD2 too XD. We’ll see if he can take this role well lols, unlike certain Arashi *coughtsakuraicough* member who seems kinda silly in the movie. ;P
Maybe I should *try* to catch up with HanaKimi after hearing quite some gd comments. D:
@Aya > But H&C has so much more emo scenes as compared to Nodame, unless they wanna focus more on the comical part. D:

@Senn > I’m just saying the special effects for Morita’s scene. I think it’s kinda needed to portray his character better.
Btw, I just finished watching the SP episode of 1 Litre of Tears. Now I can say that I’m confident that Narumi Riko will do a good job as Hagumi. Given her age, she really does have talent in acting.

Hehe, heard about this on MAL. Since H&C is about my fith favorite anime, I’ll indulge myself in the world of JDramas. It’ll be a new experience for me, and I kinda look forward to it :3
Guess I could have seen the movie too or instead, but I just can’t believe that this tiny movie can bring me the true and complex feeling of Honey and Clover.

@Aya > She does look like a 18-20 years old loli looking girl at least XP
@Su > Lols. Let’s hope the drama will come out good. You can skip the movie though, because I guess it’s not really what we were expecting.
