荒川アンダーザブリッジ : How could anyone not loves her, Miss 2-3.

First four episodes watched in a row and I’m instantly a fan of Arakawa Under the Bridge. To be precise, a fan of 2-3 aka Nino san. It has been very long while since a series made me laugh so much, to the extend of almost tearing. Like seriously.

Living under a bridge with all the denpasan (weirdos) must be hell lotsa fun.

This is also the third series that I’m currently following with Kamiya Hiroshi san in it besides Angel Beats! and Durarara!!. As much as I love the almost cunning (am sure there’s better word for him) Izaya, Riku in Arakawa gotta be his current best. Then again, am always prefer his normal roles like Natsume or Takemoto kun no matter how, with lotsa meaningful monologues. <3

Let’s not forget Sakamoto Maaya san (fitting Nino so well) and Sugita Tomokazu san (been a while for both) as well, it’s just real entertaining to watch Hoshi & co doing all those gags. My other favourites are gonna be Sista, Stella, and maybe Maria. Lols.

Nino reminds me a lot of Mamimi in FLCL. The mental, perhaps?

Very curious about Nino’s past but I doubt they’ll reveal it anytime soon. Personally I’m not buying her Venusian talk at this point of time. Just love her weirdness and that expressionless yet somewhat sad face for some reason.

And that ED theme Sakasama Bridge by Suneohair is surely bringing back some memories. Honey & Clover anyone? *tears in her eyes*

Somehow I have this image of Hoshi’s singing this song in my head. Gotta be so awesome if it’s real. ^^”

Happy Mother’s Day by the way. Very rarely, I gave mum a call just now. Later gotta make a call to an aunt too. :)
