Gloomy + Putrajaya

Gloomy @Putrajaya. Thanks guys who chip in and get the plush for me, you know who you are :D It’s now with me in Singapore. :D

..

Last month Ying came by KL for a visit and as the host, I brought her and Gloomy to go around some places in Klang Valley, to take pictures, to tour, to walk, to eat, to chill and what not.

This post is image heavy.

..

Putrajaya

We went to Putrajaya right after she touched down.

..

Gloomy + Putrajaya Mosque

Very dull weather. In the back ground is Putra mosque in pink.

..

Putrajaya

Perdana Putra – Prime Minister’s office – we’ll see what our new PM can do for us.

..

Putrajaya

The Putrajaya bridge. Well it has a name which I don’t remember. There are 7 bridges in Putrajaya if I remember correctly.

..

Gloomy

Gloomy is looking very gloomy because of the traffic jam.

..

Skytrex

Went to SkyTrex Adventure the next day – located inside Taman Pertanian Malaysia, Shah Alam. It was hella fun, even for a not so outdoor person such as myself.

..

Skytrex

Ying’s on one of the slightly tougher challenge.

..

Shah Alam Mosque

After SkyTrex, we drop by Shah Alam mosque on the way back. I used to stay very near by back in high school but this is actually the first time I go this close, lols.

..

Baskin Robins

Some Baskin Robbins ice cream after a small gathering session. Great to meet up with some primary school friends after many many years.

..

Dim Sum

Dim sum for breakfast in one of the mornings. Love dim sum lots! My favourite dim sum dish will be wu gok (taro dumpling) and fung zao (chicken feet). Yum. <3

..

Jalan Bukit Bintang

Jalan Bukit Bintang

Jalan Bukit Bintang and the busiest crossroads in Malaysia, probably.

..

Pavilion

At the end of BB road we reach Pavilion, one of the luxury shopping malls.

..

Gloomy

And Gloomy decided that it’s hungry.

..

Waffle and Pancakes

So we sit down and have some waffle and pancakes. Tasted so-so, can’t remember the shop name, it’s at the lower ground floor of Pavilion, near the food court area.

..

KLCC Aquaria

Hop over to KLCC Aquaria to see some fishies.

..

KLCC Aquaria

Quite interesting actually, and more importantly, not too many people around when we were there.

..

KLCC

Obligation KLCC shot.

..

KLCC

Spot the one and only Kinokuniya in the country. Help my sis to order some BL looking manga from Japan.

..

Masjid Jamek

Masjid Jamek is celebrating its 100 years old this year.

..

Loh Mee

Stopped by Petaling St and have lunch. This is Ying’s loh mee. Good stuff.

..

yellow rice wine mee sua

My yellow rice wine mee sua. Very nice as well.

..

Petaling Street

Petaling St and the restaurant we were eating at. It’s actually famous with its hokkien mee – big fat noodles fried in dark, black soy sauce with pork lard. Yum.

..

Kuala Lumpur Railway Station

Then we walk all the way to Kuala Lumpur Railway Station. Not sure about the “art at work” thing. This building is celebrating its 100 years old next year.

..

Kuala Lumpur Railway Station

The interior. Very quiet as it’s not the main railway station anymore.

..

Gloomy

Gloomy is posing in this rather gloomy place.

..

Korean BBQ

For Ying’s last dinner in KL, we went for a Korean barbecue treat in Seoul Korea Restaurant, Taman Danau Desa. The owner is a Korean couple – friendly and good service.

..

Korean Food

These banchan (side dishes) are free of charge and refillable, all for two person. Damn happy. ^^ Do not forget their chilled ginger tea as well, after the very satisfying meal.

..

Alrights, I guess that’s about it. Next post will probably blog about the spring anime or some Japanese movies that I’ve watch recently.

Ijou.
