Moyashimon is a niche. Don’t remember watching anything like that – tales of a bunch of (silly) agricultural university students who’re studying bacteria and microorganism. The main character Sawaki Tadayasu is also a freshman who can see microbes with his naked eyes and even communicate with them.

I think this is a good example of how the usual boring school subjects could integrate into something interesting. Though, for someone like me who never had any biology class in her whole life, I still cannot remember anything about these micro creatures except their cute faces after watching the anime. Heh.

No idea what’s the deal with Yuuki Kei. He turns into a trap all of sudden.

The story is pretty original to me. Most of them are silly, yet very new and funny at the same time. Personally like the Harusai (Spring Festival) bit the most. Had lotsa “what the hell” moments lols.

These silly A. oryzae would even provide Sawaki some advises. The way they call him “Tadayasu” is too cute. <3

The best thing about Moyashimon is its OP and ED. The cutest OP ED, ever.

Potemayo

HONI HONI!!

Did mention that want to finish Potemayo next, and I did. It’s plain silly, yet it’s incredible that someone could voice act Pote chan’s “honi honi” for all 12 episodes. Good job Hanazawa Kana san!

This series is not bad, really. Fun to watch during lunch time or something.

Ushio is the best. Tomoya is also the best. Do inform me if anyone didn’t cry while watching this episode – heartless people. Six more episodes to go, will things get better or worse?

Drama for the win.
