Anyway, I vector the character from screenshots of Ep18, as I thought for Honey to actually asking for a challenge is pretty rare and I quite like that bad ass expression of him. Yes, am kinda getting tired of his usual uber cute-ness already, so a moment of change is all good imo.

The difference of this with the earlier Bokura ga Ita wall is that, this time around I did everything in Photoshop with 1600×1200 resolution, as Illustrator is never my favourite software to work with, so yea, Photoshop all the way. The whole tracing process took about 6-7 hours, with 30 or 40 + layers. The toughest part is gonna his eyes while I like his hair the most. :P

As for the background, you probably can tell that I was already slacking off there. I actually wanted to use their Ouran High School buildings for the background but I couldn’t find a suitable shot – angle wised, it’s kinda hard to find. And I dun want to go through the all episodes to search for one now because I know I’ll end up watching the whole thing again in the end. So yeah, after browsing through some photos in my harddisk, I found this picture that I took in the car during our way back from a trip. I thought it might be able to work something out, so after some retouching and stuff, I’ve gotten really tired (it was around 5 or 6 in the morning) and thus I ended up just using the Photoshop filter. Yes, those cheap filter.

Oh my laziness. But I did 2 versions for it, submited version 1 to AnimePaper, while the other one is just with plain black colour background. I personally prefer the black one, but some prefer the other. It doesn’t matter anyway. The black background version looks something like this:
