Furaba is actually one of the first titles that I watch when I started watching anime religiously regularly. And I always wanted to read the manga after watching it as the series only covers the first 10 volumes of manga or so. Still a great anime nonetheless.

So after say, 7 or 8 years (?), finally sis got hold of the complete set of  manga (run from 1999-2006), and somehow myself managed to finish all 23 volumes in 2 nights – last weekend was sure well spent. Don’t really want to write a full blast review post so just random bits and thoughts after the cut.

Spoilers alert, as usual.

Stay Real. All the way from Taiwan, thanks to Aya.

Besides Mayday’s pre-ordered album, an autographed poster (after 6 hours of queue I heard?!), also got Aya’s help to get this tee for me during her stay in Taiwan. Stay Real is a casual apparel label founded & designed by Ashin and No2Good – now you probably get the idea why I bought the tee for 1280TWD. Just in case if you don’t: I is a big fan of Ashin (and Mayday).

So my guess was wrong. Johnny hunter is as simple as it implied in the show, nothing too complicated, damn. Seriously have no idea where this anime is heading to but am just very glad that Akira didn’t sleep with Shirotori. Or did he? o_O  Bloody illusion.

Just 4 more episodes left.

Not a news anymore, but I just had to blog about it. It’s the Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu after all.

God Knows how long it has been since the announcement of season 2. Since then, every time they said “it’s coming soon”, it never come, but gave us tons of Haruhi chan goodness while being oh-so-secretive. So this time when everyone thinks it’s really just a re-run of season 1, they aired a brand new episode of Haruhi after 7 eps of S1 – and it has to be my all time favourite arc: Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody, tanabata!

No reviews from me yet, since I haven’t watch it. But I started to like this season a little more already. :3

Higashi no Eden / Eden of the East: My season best at the moment.

Looks like will be picking up many titles this season as I just happened to watch more “first episodes” than usual.

Anyways, this Spring is quite a let down as there aren’t many enjoyable titles (to me) – too many repetitive and generic stuff perhaps. Another thing I’d like to comment about is the huge file size – most titles are at 200-400mb per episode, while Basquash and Tears to Tiara are at 400-500+mb. Now this is really killing my hard disk space. Although it’s not that I’m complaining the better quality though.
